Matiak Foundation’s Workforce Training program consists of short term programs designed to empower and equip students for success. We partner with local schools, agencies and nonprofit organizations to identify individuals not on a career pathway. Our goal is to bridge the gap for opportunity individuals in our community with Businesses ready to employ them. Upon completion of classes, Matiak Foundation will assist graduates with job placement with local businesses or students can also continue on to our skilled trade programs. Matiak Foundation is an accredited training unit providing NCCER curriculum.


Tools for Success

Tools for Success: A career readiness program empowering success in any workforce environment, from office administration, to retail, to manufacturing, to construction and more. Employability skills covered in this program include the importance of first impressions, professionalism, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution, stress management and much more. This program not only helps students land a career but also equips them to keep it and excel in it.

Construction Ready

CEFGA’s Construction Ready program is a four-week, nationally accredited, hands-on construction training and certification program. Construction Ready connects students to some of Atlanta’s top construction companies, which may lead to employment in the booming commercial construction industry. Training is FREE to qualified applicants who reside in the following metro Atlanta locations: Cherokee County, Clayton County, Cobb County, DeKalb County, Douglas County, Fayette County, Fulton County, Henry County, Gwinnett County, and Rockdale County.
