
HVAC: HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) Technicians install, maintain and repair systems in residential homes and businesses. HVAC technicians are knowledgeable in the areas of understanding building plans, wiring, piping, troubleshooting and enjoy math and science.
Plumbing: Plumbers design and install piping systems that distribute water and remove waste from building. Plumbers are knowledgeable in water distribution, reading blueprints, local ordinances and regulations, mathematics, mechanical drawing, physics, welding and soldering.
Electrical: Electricians install and maintain electrical systems in homes, businesses, factories as well as make repairs to different types of machinery. Electricians are knowledgeable in reading technical diagrams and blueprints and understanding relevant codes.
General Construction: Construction is a very progressive field, where many start out in manual labor and with hard work and perseverance are presented with opportunities for advancement, possibly even leading a construction project. General contractors have a basic understanding of all components (carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, electrical work, HVAC, and plumbing) along with different phases of a project from start to finish.
